The Brightview Concord River community offers both Assisted Living and Alzheimer’s Care.
Deciding which option is right for you depends on the services desired
and the amount of assistance needed with day-to-day activities. Below
are descriptions and a set of questions to help you make the right
choice.
Assisted Living
Assisted living is the right
option if some personal assistance and support is needed to help
maintain independence and enjoy a safe, social and well-rounded day.
Have you found that:
- Managing the timing and dosages of daily medications is a problem?
- Conditions such as arthritis or other physical limitations make it difficult to get dressed without assistance?
- Reduced strength or stability creates a safety issue when bathing?
If you answered “yes” to one or more of these questions, choose Assisted Living.
Alzheimer's Care
Alzheimer’s
Care is an option provided in a separate and secure neighborhood known
as Wellspring Village. For those with Alzheimer’s or other forms of
memory limitation, specialized care and a supportive environment can
help increase an individual’s quality of life, enable them to live to
their full potential — and restore peace of mind to families, too. Do
you notice that:
- Quality of life is decreasing because of Alzheimer’s or dementia?
- Memory loss is creating an unsafe home environment or fire hazard?
- Daily living activities are becoming more difficult to manage?
If you answered “yes” to one or more of these questions, choose Alzheimer’s Care.
